My clients are very important to me and I want you to feel like you're getting VIP treatment every step of the way. That means we are going to get to know each other and work together planning a session that is reflective of your family's unique personality. It means I will guide you through the process of choosing custom art that will match your decor, with a personalized feel that you will be delighted to display in your home. I will even help with installation so that you can begin enjoying your new artwork from day 1! My ultimate goal is to ensure that working with me is unlike any previous experience you've had and that the entire process is seamless and enjoyable.
Your experience with me will take place over several meetings, in person and over the phone. Taking the time to plan out your perfect session with the end results in mind will ensure that we create images that will give life to the memories you are making. Even when the nights seem long, these years are so short and those babies grow up way to fast!
The First Step - Let's Talk
As mentioned above, each session is fully customized to your family with the end result in mind. Therefore, we'll begin the process with a phone or email consultation. This gives me a chance to get to know you, what your personal style is like, and ultimately, what your portrait goals are for your session.
Design Consultation – In Person
When we meet in person we will go through my session planning guide to get into deeper detail about finalizing location, clothing and hair/makeup options. I can even help you go through your closet if you’re having trouble deciding what to wear! This is also the time where you will be able to view and experience my beautifully crafted Folio Boxes, Albums, and other products. I will go over pricing and answer all your questions so that you will have an idea what your investment in the finished art may look like. If everything looks good so far and you are ready to move forward, you will pay your reservation deposit and we will coordinate possible dates.
The Shoot
After we’ve settled on a location, your wardrobe and you’re all set to have some fun, it’ll be my turn to capture your family at it’s fun-loving best! Whether we are in your home for a lifestyle newborn session, or on the beach with the family, I’ve got go-to poses that will flatter everybody, and fun games to keep the laughs and smiles coming. Worried about the younger kiddos? Don’t be! Kids are wired to explore and seek new boundaries, and really, the crazier the better in order to capture their true personality. We’ll get a great mix of posed and candid images that you’ll have a tough time picking favorites!
1-2 Weeks Following – Reveal and Ordering Appointment
Shortly after your session we’ll schedule your reveal and ordering appointment. This is where you will see the payoff from all the planning we put into your session. We will go through your images and design pieces for specific locations in your home based on what we discussed during your consultations. We will be finalizing your portrait order during this appointment, so be sure to pick a time where all decision-makers can be present.
4-6 Weeks Following – Product Delivery and Installation
Once your art pieces arrive and I have inspected them to ensure they’re perfect, I will reach out to make arrangements for delivery and installation. Once your portraits are on your walls, you can sit back and enjoy them! Remember their smiles, that laugh, and the fun you had making the images.
Immediately – What about next year?
Of course, the fun doesn’t have to end there. I am thrilled that you'll enjoy those portraits on your wall, but those kiddos won't stop growing. What about next year, or the year after? Your portrait collections are designed to look great now AND to move throughout your home as your collection grows. Continuing to work with me will ensure that the art we create will coordinate with what we’ve done in the past and maintain consistency in quality and design as we add to your family's art collection over time.
