My favorite sessions are, hands down, the ones I do to follow a baby's journey through maternity, birth and newborn sessions. They're a lot of work, but I love the relationships that build over months and the bond that deepens when you help someone labor to bring their sweet baby into the world. By the time we get to the newborn session, clients feel like family and I love that I get to document these life-changing events for them!
I met Kiaonno and Kendrick when they were 4 months pregnant with Baby K. We met for coffee and I just loved their sense of humor! Kiaonno was nervous, but delighted and excited to meet the little lady. We spend the whole meeting talking about cloth diapers and wraps and I almost forgot to talk about the details for their sessions.
With her due date in late August, we got to work coordinating the first session. We chose the lovely rose garden at Mckinley Park in Downtown Sacramento, CA. We planned to meet a bit before sundown and made great use of the dreamy light!
