Would you believe how eagerly anticipated this little lady was? Well, if you've ever been around a pregnant woman or been one yourself, I would say that you have some idea. However, this little lady is especially special to me because her mama used to babysit for us, and she decided to name this little lady Amelia, the same name I chose for my own daughter! So, not partial here at all...
In fact, Alexandra allowed me to photograph her during her pregnancy and birth (which you can see here and here), so I felt incredibly honored to accompany her on her journey into motherhood. Welcome to the club Ali!
For Amelia's newborn session, mama and baby traveled to my in-home studio here in the Bay Area and we got a mix of studio styled images and lifestyle portraits. Seriously though, tiny babies with tiny fingers and tiny toes just make my heart sing!
