I'm pretty sure that Sierra is my labor unicorn. She was so strong and beautiful from the day that we met for our consultation up to the minute she held little Jax in her arms for the first time.
Sierra and Chris were one of my transitional clients when my family made the move from Sacramento to San Francisco. They put their faith in me to be there for them to document the arrival of their first son, Jax. Of course, there was no way I was going to let them down, so after some promising updates from Chris, I loaded my daughter into the car and headed to the house of a friend who lived near the hospital that Sierra was planning to give birth in. I even had a few moments to enjoy a cup of coffee before I got The Call from Chris that it was time. I arrived at the hospital at about 10am and was witness to Sierra's remarkable labor to bring baby Jax earthside. Shortly after 12pm, he was born happy, healthy, and gorgeous as all get out.
I was incredibly humbled to join Sierra's birth team of her mother and partner Chris as she showed us what true womanhood looks like. Congratulations Sierra and Chris! Welcome home baby Jax!
